Bioenzyme Workshop at Rodas Enclave Society

On 20th January 2024, Nilima Mohite conducted an enlightening Bioenzyme Workshop for the residents of Rodas Enclave Society. The session aimed to introduce the participants to the benefits, uses, and simple process of making bioenzymes, emphasizing how these natural solutions can transform household cleaning and waste management practices.

Nilima explained how bioenzymes, made from everyday kitchen waste like fruit and vegetable peels, are a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to harmful chemical cleaners. On 30th June 2024, Nilima Mohite conducted an inspiring Bioenzyme Workshop at the JMBaxi company premises for their administration and housekeeping staff. The awareness session was attended by 30 participants who showed great interest in learning about sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives to chemical cleaners.

During the session, Nilima explained the process of creating bioenzymes using simple kitchen waste like fruit and vegetable peels. She also highlighted their various applications, such as cleaning, gardening, and reducing environmental impact. The participants were intrigued by the practicality and benefits of adopting bioenzymes in their daily lives.

Months later, the impact of this workshop became evident when three employees reached out after 6-7 months, sharing that they had successfully started making bioenzymes on their own. Their enthusiasm and commitment to sustainable practices reflected the lasting influence of the session.

This workshop not only spread awareness but also empowered individuals to take small yet impactful steps towards a cleaner and greener future. The JMBaxi team’s journey with bioenzymes stands as a testament to how simple ideas can spark meaningful change.

On 23rd October 2024, Nilima Mohite conducted an engaging Bioenzyme Workshop for the Green Club of Vasant Vihar High School. The club, comprising 40 enthusiastic students passionate about addressing environmental issues, hosted the workshop within the school premises.

The session introduced the students to the concept of bioenzymes, highlighting their role in reducing chemical waste and promoting eco-friendly living. Nilima demonstrated the simple process of creating bioenzymes using kitchen waste like fruit and vegetable peels. The students were captivated by the idea of turning everyday waste into a versatile, chemical-free solution for cleaning and agriculture.

In a hands-on activity, five students prepared their own bioenzymes during the session. They were encouraged to monitor the fermentation process at home and share their experiences. The workshop ended with a lively Q&A session, where the students showed immense curiosity and commitment to trying out bioenzymes themselves.

A follow-up session on composting was held a month later, where these five students proudly reported their results. Their successful experiments inspired their peers to explore similar sustainable practices.

The workshop was a meaningful step in empowering young minds to adopt eco-friendly habits and contribute to environmental conservation. Vasant Vihar High School's Green Club is now buzzing with ideas to take their green initiatives further, making the workshop a true success in nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards.

Bioenzyme and Composting Session with Yati Foundation




On 27th December 2024, a vibrant session on **Composting and Bioenzyme** was conducted at the Champion Seals company premises in Andheri, in collaboration with the Yati Foundation. Facilitated by Nilima Mohite, the event aimed to introduce eco-friendly practices to the company’s staff, aligning with sustainable living and waste management solutions.

The session started with an engaging introduction to **composting techniques**, highlighting how kitchen waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich compost to rejuvenate soil health. The demonstration made composting seem practical and accessible, encouraging participants to adopt it in their daily lives.

The focus then shifted to **bioenzymes**, a sustainable and chemical-free alternative with multiple uses in household cleaning, agriculture, and personal care. The step-by-step process of making bioenzymes from fruit and vegetable peels was explained, along with their immense benefits in reducing toxic chemical usage.

 The staff of Champion Seals enthusiastically participated, sharing their insights and asking thoughtful questions. Many expressed genuine interest in the bioenzyme-making process, impressed by its simplicity and versatility. Several employees remarked on the significant impact such eco-friendly initiatives could have on their homes, workplaces, and communities. By the end of the session, the energy in the room was palpable, with attendees keen to explore more about bioenzymes and composting. 

The session not only created awareness but also inspired a sense of responsibility towards adopting sustainable practices. National Webinar on Bioenzymes – Innovating for a Sustainable Future

 



On December 15, 2024, the University Department of Chemistry, Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga, in collaboration with the Mithila Council of Science and Technology, hosted a National Webinar on Bioenzymes. This event, titled “Bioenzymes: Innovations and Applications for a Sustainable Future,” brought together experts, researchers, and students to explore the transformative potential of bioenzymes in addressing critical environmental challenges and fostering sustainable development.

    From January 1st to January 31st, BE@T will feature a natural alternative to a toxic product daily. Each product is a step toward healthier living and environmental sustainability.

  2. World Bioenzyme Day
    A special highlight of the campaign is January 4th, declared as World Bioenzyme Day. This day marks a global celebration of the immense potential of bioenzymes in transforming industries, households, and ecosystems.

  3. Three-Day Talk and Sharing Sessions
    To further enrich this campaign, BEA is hosting a series of expert-led discussions and sharing sessions from 3 PM to 6 PM on January 4th, 5th, and 6th. Each day will focus on a vital theme:

23rd National Skill Development Program for Children with Hearing and Speech Disabilities

Co-host: Anam Prem Event Overview The 23rd National Skill Development Program, hosted by Mahaveer Intercontinantal Services Organization (MISO), was organized to empower children with hearing and speech disabilities through skill-building workshops and training sessions. The event was held in Bikaner, Rajasthan, from September 28 to October 2, 2024, and was meticulously planned to ensure a highquality experience for all attendees. A unique aspect of the event was the strong environmental focus, with no single-use plastic utilized throughout the program. The delicious food served was cooked in desi ghee, further enriching the experience with traditional Indian flavors.

The Bio Enzymes Entrepreneur Academy (BEA) team was an essential part of the program, with all the trainers present providing practical workshops on making bio enzymes, helping the children learn valuable skills while raising environmental awareness. Workshop and Training Sessions The training sessions ran across several days, providing children with hands-on learning experiences: Bio Enzyme Workshops: Satish Jain, alongside his team from BEA, conducted sessions focused on bio enzyme creation. The children were taught how to make bio enzymes as an eco-friendly solution for cleaning and waste management. This skillbased training aimed to equip the children with sustainable practices that they could apply in their daily lives.









Event Highlights Skill Development
: The primary focus of the event was skill development for the children, with emphasis on practical, hands-on training. Environmental Awareness: The event was notable for its sustainability efforts, including the elimination of single-use plastic and the promotion of environmental consciousness through workshops and the tree plantation drive. Cultural Exposure: Heritage tours added an educational and cultural component, allowing participants to explore the rich history and traditions of Rajasthan. Sustainable Practices: The food served was cooked in desi ghee, promoting traditional and healthy eating habits while aligning with the event’s ecofriendly theme.


Cultural and Heritage Exploration - As part of the event, participants had the chance to visit
Bikaner's famous heritage sites: Laxmi Villas Palace – Breakfast at a beautiful palace reflecting the glory and royal heritage of Bikaner. Junagarh Fort – Known for its stunning architecture and rich history, the visit gave children and participants a sense of the grandeur of Rajasthan's past. Karni Mata Temple – A unique temple famous for its worship of rats, which are considered sacred here. This visit provided a cultural and spiritual dimension to the event, offering the children a chance to explore a famous pilgrimage site.

Environmental Initiatives - On October 1, 2024, the program featured a major environmental initiative: Tree Plantation Drive: Children from nearby villages Meghasar and Kolasar, along with the participants, planted 2511 saplings, setting a world record for tree plantation in the region. This initiative aimed at raising aware about environmental protection and sustainability while engaging children in meaningful activities that contribute to the planet's wellbeing.

Conclusion -  The 23rd National Skill Development Program, organized by Mahaveer Intercontinantal Services Organization (MISO), was a resounding success. It not only equipped children with disabilities with new skills but also raised awareness about environmental sustainability. The active participation of Swati Singh, Satish Jain, Ekta Gupta, and Rachna Singhal, along with the entire Bio Enzyme Entrepreneur Academy team, ensured that the children received valuable training in bio enzyme creation, which will serve them in their future endeavors. The tree plantation drive, coupled with a rich cultural experience, made the event both impactful and memorable.
