🌊 A Gathering of Water Minds
The Water Fest 2025, hosted at Ahmedabad University and organised by W for W Foundation, once again brought together passionate individuals, researchers, innovators, and organisations committed to restoring the relationship between people and water.
The festival, themed “Aqualogues”, was a vibrant celebration of ideas and experiences — featuring panel discussions, documentary screenings, debates, workshops, and cultural evenings. It served as a platform for deep reflection, dialogue, and collaborative action for a water-secure future.
💧 BEA’s Active Participation
The Bioenzyme Entrepreneurs Association (BEA) was an active participant at this year’s Water Fest, proudly representing the Gujarat Chapter with members Neha, Monica, Khayali, Rajashriba, Zubin, Nehal, and Jignesh in attendance.
BEA conducted a hands-on workshop showcasing bioenzyme applications in water and soil health management, receiving enthusiastic participation from students, researchers, and sustainability practitioners. The live demonstration highlighted how simple, natural fermentation processes can transform waste into powerful eco-restorative agents.

The event was not only about sharing knowledge — it also opened doors to meaningful collaborations:

🤝 Partnership in Kashmir: BEA connected with a team from Kashmir, initiating discussions to implement bioenzyme solutions in apple orchards to improve soil health and reduce chemical load.

🧪 MoU with MG Science Institute: Thanks to Jignesh and Nehal, BEA introduced its work to the MG Science Institute and successfully signed an MoU with Dr. Jatin Parikh for internship opportunities and collaborative research on natural formulations.

🌿 Collaboration with Moolsrishtee: BEA partnered with Moolsrishtee for joint projects on ecological restoration and sustainable livelihood development.
💬 Reflections
The Water Fest once again proved that water connects everything — from science and policy to community and culture. BEA’s participation reinforced our commitment to education, research, and innovation in nature-based solutions, promoting awareness that “Every drop counts when it’s nurtured by collective effort.”
