As part of L’Oréal’s employee sensitization initiative on sustainability and waste management, a special event was held on 10th June 2025 at the L’Oréal Baddi Plant. The event aimed to promote awareness and practical knowledge of eco-friendly practices among shop floor workers and employees.
Session Schedule:
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM:
🔹 Waste Segregation Awareness session for shop floor workers, led by Aayush Garg. The session focused on understanding dry and wet waste, the importance of segregation at source, and its role in a circular economy.
3:15 PM – 5:30 PM:
Sustainability Awareness Sessions for Employees
3:15 – 4:00 PM:
🧠 Waste Segregation Deep Dive by Aayush Garg, focusing on practical waste sorting at office and home levels.
4:00 – 4:30 PM:
🌱 Kokedama Workshop by Moolshristee, Ekta – A creative and interactive hands-on experience to encourage green hobbies and indoor gardening using moss balls.
4:30 – 5:00 PM:
🌿 Introduction to Bio Enzymes by Swati Singh, Representative of Bio Enzyme Entrepreneur Academy – I had the privilege of leading this session, introducing the concept of bio enzymes as a natural and effective solution for sustainable cleaning.
🔸 Topics covered included:
- What are Bio Enzymes?
- How they are made from fruit/vegetable peels
- Multi-purpose uses: floor cleaning, dishwashing, odor control, and more
- Environmental benefits over chemical alternatives
- Real-life success stories and social impact
- How industries and homes can adopt them in daily use
Participants were also given a demo and a takeaway guide to try bio enzyme preparation at home or in their locality.

🌀 Closing & Feedback – Interactive feedback and Q&A with all session leads.
