 CELEBRATING EARTH....
The day started with bright sunlight, feeling of freedom, peace and happiness around the universe. This was the dream dreamt few years ago after the realisation of we losing an essence of our festivals, our culture. Today, in the name of celebration, we are dumping the earth with all kinds of waste. Festival comes with the horror of overcrowded market, wet waste, dry waste, unnecessary gifts, delicacies overloaded with sugar and saturated oils. Do we really need all these to celebrate our festivals?
The dream of clean, generous, happy festival was conceptualised with humans. We named it “The Festival of Return Gifts” the festival were we give back our earth what she deserves. Loads of Saplings / Compost / Bioenzyme, smiles, soothing music, folk dances, handicrafts, local food. This was just the dream and we observed the reply of this dream in Bhoomi Habba, celebrated in Bangalore in June every year (Habba means Festival). This festival got inaugurated with the beating drums, energetic dance by all under the Tamarind tree.
There were many stalls selling handmade stuffs, an excellent way to promote earth friendly products, local economy and talents. Local songs complimented by dances was never ending fun. Leaving oneself and getting indulged in something heart loves is the way to true happiness.
The most energising activity was meeting few BEA members. This brings the feeling of family, oneness and support. Hopefully we could do similar event in different regions of India in the coming years.
WHEN WE MET....
Covid restrictions were high when BEA got registered, we being from different region of the country, we never got chance to meet physically. The entire work started virtually. It was definitely challenging to work virtually. when all of us have never met before.
First AGM was scheduled in Bangalore during the month of May 2022. The Venue was School of Ancient Wisdom, just an apt destination for our kind of work. Our Agenda was to streamline the entire functionality of this organisation. Many points got clarified and we got good direction to work upon.
BEA has three major areas of functions based on our objectives -

• NETWORKING - Objective is to bring all the Bioenzyme makers come together, learn, collaborate and progress together.

Bioenzyme has recently picked up the popularity in our society, the journey from home to industry is surely a long journey. We started by teaching as many people as possible with the view of sustainable consumption. Making BE is just one aspect and using it to its entire potential is another aspect. In this journey, we realised, until and unless we standardise and optimise the process, it is difficult to use the potential of Bioenzyme to the fullest. To achieve this, the foremost requirement is getting everyone under one roof and create the network. This network would help each one of us to establish supply chain and reach out bigger market and create demand too. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF BIOENZYME INDUSTRY IN INDIA.

• EDUCATION & RESEARCH- team are working on syllabus designing according to the requirement of universities.

.Keeping in view the National Education Policy 2020 envisaging multi-disciplinary, flexible curriculum, integrating vocational education with multiple entry and exit points with appropriate certification, we wish to propose two years skill based Master’s programme in the broad area of entrepreneurship in Bio-Enzymes management. The objective of the programme of studies is to provide required competency in skill set and knowledge to the candidates for becoming self-employed, entrepreneurialas well as employable. The students may exit the programme of studies after a three month certificate, six months advanced certificate, one year diploma and two year full master’s programme. 

• The proposed programme of studies will require minimum in-house infrastructure and resources as the students will spend more than half of the period of studies with partner organizations and in the field for practical training of either product development or revival of fresh water bodies

RESTORATION - Earth is the only planet in our galaxy (as of our knowledge) has water. Water is the kind of blessing for all the living organism on this planet. Today, because of these toxic chemicals our water bodies are going through lots of stress and the stressors comes in form of lather, in form of colors and in form of fragrance. to please our senses. Today, when climate change is the most spoken topic, the impact is seen on degrading soil, polluted water either on surface or at the ground level, Air quality is just not breathable, earth surface is hotter than ever, speaks about the imbalances happening in and around us. Each one of us need to bring lot of small changes in our daily lives to see the larger impact. For more details on collaboration, do get in touch with our team.
.We will be working closely with local government to implement these projects. During our meeting we also met many change makers from the society.
This is the initiative towards capacity building for our industry. We need more youngster to join this program to not only strengthen our local economy but also work towards bringing the ecological balance. Today, our country needs Entrepreneurs to support and contribute to circular sustainable economy and ecology.
ARCHIT is the First member of our Bio ENZYME Academy after we rolled out the membership. Currently pursuing his B.Tech. He is keen about knowing and learning World Politics , and leads & preaches about Self Sustainable Living. He is an Android & Firebase App Developer.
"I AM A PROUD MEMBER OF BEA" "I was introduced to BEA by Shrekanth sir and joined as a member immediately. I realized that on the path of self-sustainable living BIO ENZYMES plays a major role and BEA itself is a revolutionary step in this field and has taken many initiatives. My experience in BEA has been enlightening and great."
He is a prefect blend of art and science. As a person who understands the core about World Politics will eventually understand the importance of Self Sustainable Living, and this lead his involvement into BE.
He has been consistently promoting and introducing the concept of Bio Enzyme and its immense benefits to oneself and the society, whenever and wherever given a chance .
He is working on an Android App along with other members to educate people on "Natural Medicine" and "Self Sustainable Living Practices" and promote it as well
After this app, he plans to develop an app for BEA too!!
LOOKING FORWARDS .....
WICCI - BIOENZYME COUNCIL  [Bio-Enzyme Entrepreneurs Academy (BEA, India) is happy to inform that we are part of a larger network WICCI (Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry)- Bioenzyme Council (BEC) for National Representatives. We have women from Bio Enzyme producers form part of this council. And Ms.Priti Rao being nominated as the Presdent of the Council.
A National Business Chamber for Women, boosts and builds women’s entrepreneurship and businesses through greater engagement with government, institutions, global trade and networks.
There was nomination for WICCI (Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry)- Bioenzyme Council (BEC) as National Representatives among the BEA members . All we would expect is Women in Bioenzyme to come and promote the concept in society. The main objective is of creating Bioenzyme Bank in every district of India. Since this council has focus and niche area of work, we would expect you to be member of Bioenzyme Academy of India, as this organisation is in align with WICCI -BEC . PRODUCT LAUNCHES
As part of Greater chennai corporation and urbaser sumeet we had a grand meet on sustainability brands in marina Beach this morning. The canopy tales participated in it.
We had the chance to interact with the chennai corporation commissioner Mr Gagandeep Bedi and chennai city mayor.
There were spectators who were curious to know what's inside those bottles. We told them about its cleaning efficacy and how BE is helpful in rejeuvenating nature's resources.
Truzym and Clenzyme are 2 other latest products that our team members have launched.
WAY FORWARD...
Ms.Neerja, will be representing BEA at Palampur (Himachal Pradesh in a 2 day seminar on rural technologies organised by CSIR - institute of Himalayan BioSource Technology. She has been sponsored by IIT Madras for this Unnat Abhiyan Program along with 2 other women from IITM. It is a great opportunity for our members to represent BEA at various forums.
Her objective would be to pitch bioenzymes as a notable model for rural livelihood and its major role in utilizing organic waste in a meaningful way. Due to its innumerable applications of bio enzymes in various fields, including farming, livestock rearing, water treatment, sludge treatment plants this is an excellent candidate where it's a synergy of Agri industry and science.

Bio-enzyme was first developed by Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong, Thailand. Also known as Eco-enzyme, Garbage enzyme, terrazyme. She has been actively involved in enzyme research for more than 30 years and she encourages people to make Bio enzyme at home to ease global warming. Strongly believes in and practices Natural Healing using Bioenzymes

NEWSLETTER 1 - APR 2022

KNOWING BEA

Bio-Enzyme Entrepreneurs Academy of India, is spearheading the promotion, training, production, distribution, research and application of Bio-Enzymes and its products in day to day life and living. We are determined to help the individuals, families and the communities to move towards a more natural, eco friendly, and sustainable life at home, neighborhood and society. A group of scientists are guiding and supporting us with their extensive study, learning, and R&D.

The Bio-Enzyme Entrepreneurs Academy of India, an apex body of Bio-Enzyme producers in India, is  taking a giant step in training and mentoring tens of thousands of interested individuals and groups to become Bio-Enzyme entrepreneurs. This will help them to lead toxin free natural life, and also earn a livelihood in the social business of Bio-Enzymes.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR

We are a year young now, since this is our first newsletter, we would like to share one year's journey through this document with all. It is definitely fortunate to see the kind of personalities joining this mission. We wish to develop the network of all the producers, scholars, institutions across the globe. Our heartfelt gratitude to many people who have supported us so far including Dr.Rosukon & Dr. Joean and her team who have been guiding us from time to time.

Registration of Trust: It was 26th March 2021 finally when we registered Bioenzyme Entrepreneurs Academy of India in Bangalore. It took almost 2 years to come up with the final draft of this Trust to be registered. The best part was when registar asked if some lawyer had drafted the trust document. Every little detail was mentioned by him with so much clarity, what we wish to do in this organisation. Though we wished for representatives from across the country to be on board, it was difficult for everyone to come together, as our country was resting during Covid.

The first virtual meeting of knowing each other happened on 5th May 2021. This meeting was formal virtual launch of this organisation happened over two weekends in August 2011. 8th August is the day when Quit India Movement started in 1942, we launched with a positive note of “Adopt Natural Life” and 15th August as independence-day, we observed it as “Conscious Consumerism and Sustainable Lifestyle Choices”. We were successful in making these two days interesting and eventful with the launching of our website (www.beacademy.in). With individuals, organisations/institutions joining us, this event brought a different perspective to BioEnzyme and we named it - Nature Stories, Soul Talk

Joining Hands: One of our initiatives involves bringing all the Bioenzyme Makers under one roof and to initiate this we floated membership details in September 2021 and we have around 100 members within a few months of floating this activity. Many are individuals, who wish to start an entrepreneurial journey with us, few existing brands came forward to guide emerging ones. Our motive is to collaborate and not compete…. And we see this shaping up, beautifully.

Board: We have created an Advisory board to shape up our Academy. Dr. Joean and Dr. Arun is not a new name to us, they were obliged to join our mission along with Dr. Mansee Bal and Dr. Snehal Donde.

Curriculum Development: in order to get BEA to reach institutions to integrate our program in their curriculum, a team is in place to work on the same and will be shaped soon.

Launch of State Chapters: November 2021, under the guidance of the local team and a tie-up with SPARSH, we initiated our Odisha chapter with a virtual workshop. It is slowly but surely spreading the wings to Government Departments, Institutions and NGOs.

World Bioenzyme Day: In order to honour and express our gratitude to Dr.Rosukon for her contribution in garbage enzymes, which is one of the solutions to the existing planet’s problem. With regard to this, a consultative meeting took place in December 2021 with Dr.Joean and rest of the well-wishers and it was decided to declare 4th January, which happens to be Dr.Rosukon’s Birthday, as World Bioenzyme Day. message. Some of the initiatives taken up were sharing on BE, Pouring BE in water bodies, exploring BE and the event concluded with the virtual participation of more than 350 participants across the world. This was the first time when Dr. Rosukon came on a virtual platform and shared her experiences with all of us.

Our Reach:

• In January 2022, Swacch Surat initiative was started with the virtual meeting
• A hybrid meeting was organised at Govt. Holkar Science College with almost 10000 students participating. We discussed BioEnzyme and it was an interactive session with students. Abstract of the talk is being compiled and will be released soon.
• Virtual program for a group of environmentalists to save Mahoning River in Youngstown, USA
• September 2021 Shajapur for group of ITI students
• To commemorate World Water Day- Lakes water restoration took place in Raipur, Bangalore, Ujjain, Bhilwara, Bhiwadi, Agra
• Virtual meeting was conducted for the Innerwheel club of Rotary Odisha wing
• Marathon of events between 26th to 28th of November 2021 comprising of training sessions at Vriddhi, Women organic farmers SHGs, Rotracts, Rotary e-club, two waterbody reistoration program at two villages, interactive meetings with Principal and administrative staff of Future Bhubaneswar School, MD, Center for Policy Governance & Advocacy and VC, OUAT, Odisha.
• January 2022 a meeting with Youth for Water, UNICEF and TATA STRIVE of TATA Foundation
• Virtual Workshop and training session organised for different stakeholder, institutions
• 5th and 10th March 2022 site visit and assessment by Sharada Bharaty with local community members to MCC ( Micro Composting Center) Bhubaneswar Municipality Corporation.

IDEA TO INCEPTION 

Priti - We stand on three strong pillars of Education, Network and Restoration of Water Bodies and its taking up shape across India. The vision of working together with all the BE literate in different arrays of work is coming together. We have a passionate group of People on Board, with the mission of coming together to commence some huge change in society and ecology.

Mahesh Navhal - BEA is not formed overnight, efforts of many for many years while working on the Environment, Water, Biodiversity and Bioenzymes, the need for a comprehensive public initiative has been felt for the conservation of nature. An initiative that everyone can join. Every family can be a partner. Bioenzyme is such a liquid Its creation and use and promotion can be done by everyone easily. The properties of bioenzyme nurture nature, water resources and bring them to their natural condition. Making use of bioenzyme is a powerful means of giving something back to nature. increased proliferation of bioenzyme, This trend should go to the extent of public initiative and public participation, so there is a need to bring all the entrepreneurs related to the systems like production of bioenzyme, marketing etc. on one platform. There is a need to increase the number of not only entrepreneurs but also such people who can make bioenzyme a medium of employment generation.

Bioenzyme is versatile. There is a need for research on bioenzyme. Its properties take us towards chemical free life. The use of chemicals is becoming a curse in our everyday life. Water and earth are in anguish over the use of our chemicals. There is a great need to save, preserve it for our future generations. BEA is a product of this need. It has been established from theyear that BEA will prove to be a milestone in nature conservation by working in the direction of bioenzyme production, use, mass mobilization and research on it.

Shrekanth - The shaping of any organisation is a very important instrument for growth especially when we have a bigger vision for our Earth. It calls for grassroot work from Logo Design, Tagline, Launch Program that came out as Soul Talk in August 2021, witnessed by global participants.

With the visualisation of bringing global citizens with common mission, initiating the celebration of Dr. Rosukon’s birthday (4th January) as World Bio Enzymes Day. This took shape and once again people across the world joined to celebrate World Bio Enzymes Day with BEA.

Setting up of supply chain is the major task to help upcoming Entrepreneurs. Encouraging many youngsters and helping them setting up the brand and marketing strategies is moulding its way to set up new industry. Its not just encouraging the sustainable solution to the society but also enrolling many members to be associated with BEA. Positioning BEA in this complex consumer market is tricky, but focus and hardwork is definitely taking all of us towards sustainable consumerism.

Mentored and supported in setting up India’s largest Bio Enzyme manufacturing unit and bring it to be associated with BEA.

Identified potential student members and helped them to receive BEA participation certificates on completion of DIY workshops.

Carried out advanced level courses, such as Business with Bio Enzymes that included BEA membership to all participants who participate in the course. This was done to identify individuals as BEA members and help them to establish their own Bio Enzymes manufacturing unit. activities of the last one
